Developed with the intention of withstanding the most challenging moves and tricks of skate boarding, eS shoes have quite a few more attributes than other skate footwear. For example, most of the eS shoes and sneakers use the STI Foam and System G2 Gel technologies. The STI foam operates as an energy absorbing fabric for shock absorption and added comfort. On the other hand, the System G2 Gel allows the shoes or sneakers to absorb a lot more impacts compared to common gel or plastic. These two key advancements, added to some other standard features, give eS shoes an edge over its rivals.

Keep your head up - dont look at the ice. Dont lean too much forward, in other words dont stick out your rear. Keep your arms out in front of you at 10:10 or 2:50 as on a clock, they are your balancing poles. The more you skate, the more balanced youll get.

Any kind of stretches and, also balance boards may be helpful; or you can put your back flat to the wall and go into a sitting position and then make sure that your legs are at a 90-degree angle. A weak lower body is equal to little or no balance on the ice. You will need to work on your arms and upper body as well. Find a point of focus. Concentrate on something in front of you; if you look at your feet, you tend to fall easier. When you glide, do not push off your toe pick, try and push off from the side of your skate. You wont make a scratching sound and it will prevent you from catching your toe pick on the ice and falling. When you glide, you want to bend a lot into your knees and push off the ice hard with your edges.

Usually most children are able to be confident on their skates after just a couple of hours of practice. We would recommend, however, that the child have elbow, knee pads and a helmet to protect against falls (because there will be several of them when they are learning). Roller skating individually, on a team or just with a special group or someone can be very rewarding.

If you have to move your grounded foot around or hop around to keep your balance, your balance is probably not up to the basics of a reasonable figure skater. Most figure skaters dont need to move from the spot while on one leg. Also, another test is to close your eyes and stand absolutely steady for a half minute; have someone tell you whether you swayed at all or whether you were still able to keep perfect balance. This will be worth knowing if you are a figure skater.
Eric J Owens Skateboards, April 15th , 2018. Buy for your skill level. No matter what level of skater you currently are, there is a skate ramp for you. But dont go too steep to fast (unless you want to become VERY friendly with the ground and possibly the emergency room). Skating is a really fun sport, but it takes some time to master. Start out with a small ramp and master that. It is not only safer but will save you a ton of money. You can always go bigger and even combine your smaller ramp with bigger ones to make a mini park.
Eric J Owens Skateboards, April 14th , 2018. Health and safety is quite crucial for skate boarders because the sport involves rather high speeds and wheels. A good number of injuries that are treated, are usually attributed to either the loss of balance or a stunt gone wrong. For this reason it is very important that you, as a sensible skater don the right protective gear, comprising of a helmet, knee and elbow pads. But like i said you really have to find out for yourself how much concave your board should have. The next thing you want to look at is how wide the board is and what size to go with. If you have smaller feet you dont want to go with a large board like an 8.0, you would be better to go with a 7.5.
